Hi Class! I will be in a meeting this morning. Here are the things you are to accomplish while I'm out. 

1. Define the following terms (If it is a person, you should write what they are known for.): Wilmot Proviso, popular sovereignty, secede, fugitive, Henry Clay, John C. Calhoun, Daniel Webster, Harriet Beecher Stowe, propaganda, Steven Douglas

This will be collected at the end of the class period.

 2. Complete Summary 10.1 and Summary 10.2. If you finish early, you should start your notes for each of the readings. We will begin taking notes on these tomorrow.

3. In order to be ready for tomorrow's lesson I suggest you watch this short review video.
